«In English the word “brass” means “copper”. But in the music language – this is a synthesizing term collecting all the wind instruments that at the early ages were made of brass.
It so came that usually the brass musicians tend to gather and play in different kinds of ensembles. Thanks to this there are many groups of many different styles: from duets and trios to the big bands, consisting only of brass instruments.
