From the 5th till 9th of August The Brandt Brass Ensemble took part in Brass Festival (Lichtenberg, Germany) which was organized by Rekkenze Brass in cooperation with the museum Haus Marteau.

This festival is very honorable to the musicians of the Brandt Brass Ensemble because it started the acquaintance of the Ensemble to the European public in 2004. This is the place where we got acquainted to the friends who support The Brandt Brass Ensemble till today. They are Peter Knudsvig (The USA, Germany), Gary Mortenson(The USA), Kim Dunnik (The USA) and Arkady Shilkloper (Russia, Germany).

Very many important things happened this time! Unforgettable communication with a very charming person – professor of the Munich Academy of music and dance the first French horn player German Brass Wolfgang Gaag! And definitely, it is very honorable for every Brass Ensemble to participate with such musician in one concert.

And it is a very important and constructive meeting to Max Thein and Eugeny Yazuk where the Brand Brass Ensemble tested the instruments produced by the firm «Thein» and the instruments to each musician in the Ensemble where chosen.

And, of course, a lot of friendly communication with the colleagues from different countries, meetings to the old friends and really warm hospitality of the little German town Lichtenberg.
