FESTIVAL TO 110 ANNIVERSARY SINCE THE BIRTH OF D. D. SHOSTAKOVICH

The big musical festival devoted to 110-year anniversary since the birth of D. D. Shostakovich takes place in Saratov Conservatory. Almost all leading soloists and chamber collectives of the city of Saratov took part in it. Participants of ensemble Oleg Abramov and Alexander Danilenko also participated in the previous concerts of a festival as soloists, executing transcriptions of works of Shostakovich - the "Three preludes" in arrangement for a trombone and a piano by V. Venglovsky and "Fantastic dances" in arrangement for a pipe and a piano by A. Selyanin. At opening of a festival concerto No. 1 for a piano, the soloist pipe and string band, solo on a pipe - Alexander Danilenko was performed.

On December 10 at 18:00 in the Big hall of conservatory at a final concert of a festival Brandt Brass Ensemble will execute the "First Ballet suite" in transposition for M. Heifetz's brass ensemble.
